I like the fact you can book appointments on line. That you can also get an on the day appointment if needed. Most of the receptionists are friendly and helpful which is what you need when you are feeling poorly. A couple could do with some extra training in how to be friendly and helpful.

I find all the admin staff friendly and most helpful, I have been a patient at this surgery since I was born and all the GPs have treated me very very well over the years. I cannot find fault but to say that all human beings sometimes get out of bed the wrong side and Doctors are no different, which one realises very occasionally during an appointment but I would not want to change my surgery.

I have been a patient at Sutherland Lodge for more than forty years and can't speak too highly of the treatment I have received. I find being able to book appointments and ask for repeat prescriptions online have made a huge difference. The only real problem is the car park but there isn't any scope for extending it so if I have an appointment, my husband drives me and waits for a space to appear I do the same for him.

Thank you for your positive comments. We have had quite a good response to our on-line services which is great news. With regards to the car park, unbelieveable as it may sound, we have the largest car park of all the GP surgeries in Chelmsford. Unfortunately we have quite a few 'non' patients who park here and walk into town and it is only if we see them doing this, can we challenge them. We do put notices on their cars, but most ignore this. And because we are a private car park, the police are really not interested. This is a daily battle I'm afraid.
